2014 has been a hell of a year. So many (good) changes, so many new things learnt, so many new opportunities, and much more. I couldn’t have asked for anything different (or awesome) in a year.

In the beginning of the year, I was definitely overwhelmed with school and getting into my top programs for university. I was so grateful to be accepted to one of my top programs late February. It was something I never expected at the time. I am now in that Journalism program and wouldn’t have wished to be anywhere else.

Speaking of university, my first semester of my first year began in September. The people I have met and the opportunities I have gotten this far are remarkable. I can’t see myself anywhere else. Also, I never expected to have such an awesome time in university. In terms of adjustments, I thought it would be way more difficult along with the courses but I’ve realized with effort and motivation, it is all possible.
Early February of 2014 marked the date I have been blogging for one year. Who knew I’d come that far with my blog because to be honest, I sure didn’t! I’m so glad to have continued this blogging journey throughout 2014 and definitely will throughout 2015 as well. Since university started, it has been tough getting consistent posts up but that didn’t mean I was forgetting about my blog. It was tough to balance the two along with work and a social life but I am ready to put in more effort throughout 2015.

This year, I also went to many fun events like TIFF, some festivals, Nuit Blanche, and fashion launches. One of my most memorable event was the second annual Buffer Festival which is like TIFF for YouTube. I went last year and had a blast so I had to go back again this year and it was even better. YouTube is an ever changing and growing industry and I hope to be a part of it one day, starting with Buffer Festival. I look forward to next year's event!

As I mentioned before, I met awesome people in university in my first semester. I also loved how I maintained a strong relationship with my good friends, some of which went to different universities. Overall, I’m so grateful for everyone, all the opportunities I have had, and pretty much everything throughout 2014.
I can’t wait to see what 2015 will bring.
Now, let’s ENJOY the rest of the year!
