A lot of people have been talking about Triangl Swimwear but I've never thought of buying one myself only because I didn't know if I could trust buying a swimsuit online and it not fitting. Then of course there's the hassle with shipping back and getting new sizes, etc. Luckily, Triangl has a chart to help you find the perfect fit for your body. You can find that chart here. They also have a 24/7 live chat with one of their associates on their website to answer all your questions and help you with sizing! I found this very helpful because they recommended the perfect sizing for me after I gave them my bra size ranges and bottom sizing.
Both the top and the bottom pieces come in XXS, XS, S, M, L, and XL sizes but the tops also come with in between sizes S+ and S++. First off, the range of sizes are pretty broad to suit all body sizes which is great! The relevance of the S+ and S++ are for girls who are a bit smaller in the underbust but have a larger cup size.
To give you a comparison, I am a 34C/36B and the S+ top in the Poppy style fit perfectly. However, if I were to purchase one of their tops without underwire, I would go bigger because those fit smaller. You can find all that info and more on their website (click here).
As I mentioned before, the material used to make this swimwear is neoprene which is used to make surf suits. I was surprised with how comfortable it was to wear and it didn't feel like I was being suffocated in it.
The downside to this material is that it takes a while to dry and can crease easily. I'll go more in detail on how to take care of the swimsuit later on in the post!
One of the most concerning point for me was the fit, especially for the bottoms. With swim bottoms, I like to wear the most covering bottom and when you first look at their website, their bottoms look like they don't cover anything at all. After receiving the swimsuit, they actually cover more than you would expect. To compare, it covers way more than Victoria's Secret swimsuits ever will.
The Poppy top has adjustable straps and a clip at the bag. It fit securely and didn't feel like it would fall off at any time, even after a hug ocean wave hits.
Since the bikini is made out of neoprene, it can and will crease easily. When you receive your Triangl Swimwear set, they will give you a care card to tell you how to take of it. An important fact: Neoprene creases easily so lay flat to dry. You can iron the swimsuit inside out but not directly on the neoprene.
Pricing per bikini set (bikini top and bottom) runs between 79 and 99 USD.
Hopefully this post helped give perspective to Triangl Swimwear and that you are convinced to buy one before the summer ends! I know I definitely want to!
