A couple months ago, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Illesteva, an Italian eyewear brand designed in New York. My first encounter with the brand was years ago, when I saw celerities wearing Illesteva sunglasses. Now, I wear my pair knowing I have a special connection to them.
The project was capturing their new Toronto store location for promotional and social posts. On a Sunday morning, I spent about two hours in the store photographing and understand the story behind each hand-crafted pair of sunglasses. Thanks to Chris and Jamila who work for Illesteva for being the kindest and coolest people ever.
See more of my shots below, and a special shout out to my cousin Cecile for taking my photos wearing Illesteva's Leonard sunglass.
Thank you Illesteva!
