Earlier this year, I visited Los Angeles. It seems like every time I go, there's always something new to do or see. Here's what I did this trip.
What I Ate
Searching for the best avocado toast in the city? Look no further and head to the Daily Dose cafe in downtown LA. Along with having the best avocado toast, their alley-aesthetic is to-die-for, and they make some of the best smoothies, some of them being vegan too!
While you're in downtown, pop by Bottega Louie, a restaurant, cafe, and pâtisserie with delicious macarons. If available, go for the birthday cake ones!
Where I Went: Catalina Island
I've visited Catalina Island once before, but not adventuring through the hills on a golf cart! This is the best way to get the views of the Island, I mean, you could hike up too but if you're there for a day and want something quick, rent a golf cart.
Stop by Big Olaf's ice cream to cool down after strolls around the island.
What I Saw
Views from the Santa Monica pier - The delicious In-N-Out Cheeseburger
Strolls on Melrose Ave
LACMA Lights because I'm a tourist.
Sunsets at Malibu
